The Glorious Transfiguration of Jesus

Matthew 17:1-8

Having the proper perspective really changes on how we view things. For driving, one must keep their eyes on the road to avoid getting into an accident and get to where they wish to go. For the sailor at sea, looking for the northern star at night is essential to getting back on course. Other times, having the proper view of something requires us to see past the distractions that would cause us to become even more lost and confused. For the christian, having a proper view of who Jesus is means the difference of having a robust faith or faith as delicate as tower of cards ready to topple over. Today’s message will focus on how to view who is the real Jesus as described by holy scripture.
