2. Testing God is rooted in unbelief                   

Matt 4:7   Temptation of Jesus

Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’”

·      Sinners’ contempt & mockery of God

·      Believers’ mistrust of God

- Don’t test God

- Trust God’s Word in ALL circumstances

3. God’s judgment awaits those who reject Him.

·      This is the fate of all who reject Christ and die in that state

·      As recipients of God’s mercy & grace, we must have compassion for those who are suffering, especially those without Christ, and be motivated to pray for them and take/make opportunities to share the gospel.
